Hi Coral
The lunch was excellent – what a fantastic room!!!
The speakers were brill and we had some great networking opportunities and I won a raffle prize – excellent day all in all..............................
WELL DONE TO YOU AND RAE FOR ORGANISING IT ALL !!!
- Dorothy Gould - GS Social Care
I LOVED being involved in the Pink Link Ladies IWD celebrations- it was such a vibrant and engaging event- what an atmosphere! I spoke at the event, and was overwhelmed by how many people followed up with me afterwards, chatted to me during the day, and expressed an interest in our services- definitely a business event where real business happens.
- Isla Wilson - Ruby Star Associates
We had a lovely day , the venue was great with a lovely friendly atmosphere & not stuffy & corporate. The food and service was amazing.
We made some great links with some other businesses such as photo booth for our ball & a makeover photo shoot and Blackpool college.
We gave out lots of sponsor packs for our ball.
We really enjoyed the other speakers and Isla has some contacts she feels we can work with.
Well done to you and Rae for organising it all and thanks for giving us the opportunity to talk about Unique Kidz and Co.
- Denise Armer - Unique Kidz & Co
Venue-excellent. Just the right size to create the right atmosphere and everyone was close by so interaction with the attendees was really good.
Lunch-excellent. One of the best meals I have ever had in a large group situation. The food was lovely and red hot (which is very unusual when there are so many people to feed)
Speakers-fantastic. All different with a different storey to tell, but a great ‘mix’ of different people, all most enjoyable to listen to and very inspirational.
Value for money-very good value for money.
Networking-some great people there to network with and a worthwhile day spent getting our message to people.

I thought it was a great day. Very enjoyable, not too hectic but I met lots of nice people and got a few enquiries from it which is a bonus

Really enjoyable day. My only regret is that my car charger hadn't worked so I have no pictures - looking forward to 'pinching' a few from Facebook for my own album. Location was great, but must remember to take a cushion for those chairs, and the meal was delicious. We chatted to a whole heap of interesting people, and we enjoyed the speakers. All round, an excellent day.
Many thanks for all your hard work,

The venue was really good. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. The room décor was lovely and the layout of the room was excellent. The food was excellent, much better than the Hilton last year. The staff at the Pines seemed to deal with the event very well.
The speakers were very funny, unfortunately, I had to miss part of the last speaker.
The event was great value for money when you consider the number of exhibits, people who attended, food and venue.
You and Rae did an excellent job as usual and the event was a great success. Looking forward to next years.

Hi Coral & Rae,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the International Women's Day at The Pines. The venue itself was lovely, the food was delicious and the company was great too.
I enjoyed the informal networking opportunity of visiting the many stalls on display. There was a lot of variety and it was a good opportunity to meet people that I perhaps wouldn't normally meet.
As for the speakers, Isla Wilson's speech was extremely thought-provoking. Her insight into the dos and don'ts of selling were extremely useful and when combined with her wit and natural public speaking ability, she was a pleasure to listen to.
Jane Halpin and Denise Armer from Unique Kidz & Co were inspirational. To think that two 'normal mums' could pinpoint this niche and start up such a successful business was really uplifting to hear. Their stories were hilarious and they came across so affable and down to Earth, again they were a delight to listen to.
Linda Wright was also a good speaker. A little 'close to the bone' at times, her stories were also personal, reflective and funny. She would certainly light up any other similar function with her jaw-dropping dating tales!!
Thanks for putting on such a great event - it really was one to remember and one to look forward to in 2014!

I really enjoyed IWD, it was my first time not just as an exhibitor but also as a guest. I thought of it as a brand awareness exercise and didn’t expect to get any work from it. I have managed to link to others to people though.
The speakers were great on many levels
The food was excellent and lots of it.
Highly recommend

Would just like to leave some feedback about International Womens Day 2013-
I had such a great day at International Womens Day at The Pines Hotel. The Venue was lovely with a great layout making sure everyone exhibiting had a nice space. The lunch (DINNER ;) ) was amazing with even better speakers- Very funny but inspirational at the same time. I exhibited at the event and it was such a great success for me & my business not only meeting some brilliant contacts that I am now working with, but also booked jobs on the day!!
With business aside I found the day really enjoyable & met some lovely ladies!!! Will look forward to next years!!!
