Being born in Mumbai, India and growing up with parents and grandparents who always loved cooking I was never away from traditional culinary skills. I was brought up to enjoy the freshest of ingredients, the most wonderful meats and vegetables and the very best herbs and spices. I have always been passionate about clients enjoying REAL traditional Indian Cuisine. Nowadays, the High street is deprived of these traditional dishes and meals in your local town centre.
My approach to cooking is simple and enticing with the use of earthy spices, fresh herbs and blends that are synonymous with India, based around dishes that are accessible and recipes are cooked from communities across India; many of which have been part of my own family for generations. Dalvis is a real authentic cuisine that reflects the heritage and culture history of the food I grew up eating.
Dalvi’s cater for all occasions; weddings, parties, Birthdays, family get-togethers, ceremonies, corporate events etc.
I also do private cookery lessons and organise events like Bollywood Nights, Bhangra nights, Diwali (Festival of Lights) nights etc.
