Culinary Occasions – An exquisite culinary experience for you and your guests!
Experience a stress-free, no pressure dinner party or BBQ by your Personal Chef, Yvonne Gainford.
Enjoy a night of exquisite dining in your home or holiday accommodation. Sit back with friends or family and relax. You choose the time, date and menu. Using the freshest locally sourced ingredients, your chef will create a personalised menu and unique dining experience especially for you.
For instance, here are some examples of the menus I create for private dining, family parties and buffets at outside catering events.
Cumbria’s Award-Winning Micro Gin Distillery
From Garden Shed to The Old Calf Shed. Zoe and Andy Arnold-Bennett produce award-winning, small batch, classically distilled Gins, Gin Liqueurs & Gin Marmalade. We launched in our Garden Shed in 2016, and moved to The Old Calf Shed in 2019.
Since moving to The Old Calf Shed, we’ve started offering Cumbria’s first and only Make Your Own Gin Experiences. Plus, you can enjoy Gin Tours & Tastings and botanical-inspired Afternoon G&Teas. There’s plenty of car parking space and we’re wheelchair-friendly throughout.
We are also Ulverston’s newest, most unique, wedding venue. Where better for gin-loving couples to tie the knot? You can choose to have your ceremony in the Distillery itself, among the stills, or in our stylish Bar with views of Ulverston’s iconic Pepperpot.
All our distilled gins have won awards, and Cuckold’s Revenge is featured in the latest edition of “101 Gins To Try Before You Die”. We are also proud to say that we won The Gin Guide’s (Small Producer) Environmental Sustainability, 2020.
