PINK LINK TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between you and Pink Link Ladies Limited (Cotton Court, Church Street, Preston, PR1 3BY). Please read them carefully before booking or joining.
1. Membership
Members are invited to attend events organised by Pink Link. Event details are available via our website and e-newsletters.
- All information provided must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Membership runs for 12 months from the join date.
- Membership fees are payable in GBP via BACS, debit/credit card or standing order (payment processing fees may apply).
Cooling-Off Period
- Membership may be cancelled within 14 days of acceptance, provided no events have been attended or membership benefits used.
Sponsor Membership
- Applies to employees of the named company and requires a nominated representative.
- Membership may be transferred to another employee for a £50 transfer fee.
- Sponsor membership follows the same cooling-off terms as above.
2. Ending Membership
- Membership renews annually. If payment is not received by the due date, membership will automatically lapse, and access to all member benefits will be withdrawn immediately.
- Lapsing of membership does not remove any outstanding payment obligations, and Pink Link Ladies Limited reserves the right to recover any unpaid fees.
- Pink Link Ladies Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where a member:
- Brings the organisation into disrepute
- Repeatedly books and fails to attend events
- Misuses membership
- Promotes a directly competing business
Termination for Misconduct
- Where membership is terminated due to misconduct, no refund will be issued, and the full membership fee remains payable.
Cancellation by Members
- All cancellations must be made in writing with at least 30 days’ notice.
Cancellation Fees
- Cancellation within the first 6 months: 25% of the original membership fee will be charged.
- Cancellation within the final 6 months: 100% of the remaining balance will be payable.
3. Event Bookings
- All events must be booked and paid for in advance.
- By booking an event, you agree to the terms set out in Section 4.
- Event details, including venues, may change where necessary within the same region.
4. Event Cancellation, Refunds and Transfers
We aim to be clear and fair:
Customer-Initiated Cancellations
- Refunds may be requested up to 14 days prior to the event.
- Where a refund is approved, Pink Link Ladies Limited will retain 10% of the ticket price to cover administrative and operational costs.
- Refunds are calculated based on the base ticket price only and exclude any payment processing fees or third-party charges, which are non-refundable.
- The remaining 90% of the base ticket price will be refunded to the original payment method.
- Refunds requested within 14 days of the event are not permitted.
Non-attendance
- Failure to attend does not entitle you to a refund. All payments remain due in full.
Substitutions
- If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute attendee.
- At least 30 days’ notice must be provided.
Instalment Payments (including Klarna)
- Where an instalment provider is used, all payments remain payable in full regardless of attendance or refund eligibility.
Cancellation by Organisers
- If an event is cancelled or postponed by Pink Link Ladies Limited, you will be offered:
- A transfer to a future event, or
- A refund of the ticket price
- Due to costs incurred in advance (including venue hire, staffing, catering and production), we reserve the right to retain up to 75% of the ticket price to cover non-recoverable or pre-paid costs.
- The exact refund amount will depend on the timing of cancellation and the level of costs already committed.
- We are not liable for any additional costs, including travel or accommodation.
5. Attending Events
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all attendees must:
- Arrive on time
- Behave respectfully towards others
- Follow venue health and safety requirements
- Avoid disruptive or inappropriate behaviour
- Accept responsibility for any damage caused
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. We cannot accept liability for loss or theft.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
6. Media, Data, Dietary Requirements & Liability
- Events may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent unless you notify us in advance.
Dietary Requirements & Liability
- All dietary, allergy and accessibility requirements must be provided at least 7 days prior to the event.
- While Pink Link Ladies Limited will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requirements and may issue reminders, it is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure accurate information is submitted.
- We cannot be held liable for any issues arising from:
- Failure to provide dietary information
- Incorrect or incomplete information
- Changes not communicated within the required timeframe
- Liability will only be accepted where proven negligence can be demonstrated.
7. Liability
Pink Link Ladies Limited shall not be held liable for:
- Injury, illness, or allergic reactions (unless caused by proven negligence)
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
8. General
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will apply.
