Introducing our speakers for International Women’s Day Lancashire – Karina Jadhav and Maura Jackson.
Karina Jadhav is the North West’s youngest independent female restaurant owner. Founder of the Menagerie Restaurant Bar and co-founder and creator of Neighbourhood, Victors Hale and Southern Eleven.
Maura Jackson, Inspirational Woman of the Year Award Winner of the 2019 Enterprise Vision Awards and CEO of BACKUP NW. The charity provides opportunities for homeless young people and to provide a safe and stable environment.
CHARITY OF THE EVENT
Backup North West (Formerly BYPHS) is based in Bolton supporting homeless 16-25yr olds by offering accommodation, emotional and practical assistance. The team is on hand to help, educate and counsel young people to help enable independent living in the community.

Together we can challenge perceptions and stereotypes, to fight for gender diversification and to celebrate female entrepreneurship across the world.

“Our wonderful base gin, is made using the London Dry standard, using a single source spirit, produced right here in the North West of England. We then add real Blackpool Rock from one of the oldest rock factories in Blackpool. After some technical wizardry and very fine filtering, we are left with our lovely, subtly sweet, Blackpool Rock Gin.”
