Application Requirements

The role is membership, event and sponsorship sales and applicants must have proven sales experience. Experience of telesales and field sales essential, event sales experience is a benefit.

You must be experienced with lead generation and gaining new business. An ethical sales approach that addresses the needs of customers and provides appropriate solutions.

What you’ll do

You will attend, and oversee regular events as part of the team. This will include contacting prospective companies to explain the features of the events and offer them a variety of options which will meet their needs, budgets and benefit them. You should be able to determine what best meets the needs of the customer by using questioning techniques and deliver a bespoke recommendation based around what is suitable to meet those needs. You will plan and sell a variety of options from ticket and sponsor choices. You will promote the membership, network and online and sell new memberships. Sales will be conducted via the telephone and face to face at events. Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • Lead generation
  • Communicating to existing clients and new enquiries
  • Updating CRM system
  • Target planning
  • Social Media use
  • Administration of event paperwork and orders
  • Identifying potential sales platforms
  • Cross sell across our portfolio of events and membership
  • Maintaining continuous relationships with existing customer base
  • Securing sponsors
  • Smashing targets!

You must have your own vehicle and clean drivers license. Computer skills are an absolute must as is good English and Mathematics.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00 to £25,000.00 /year
