FUNDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS
Pink Link are working with partners to help women improve and grow their business through funded programmes.
From Peer to Peer Networking to masterclasses on key business topics. Women who take part in the programmes will be given business training and support to accelerate growth.
The Rose Review was commissioned by the UK Government to identify obstacles faced by women in business. The report suggested key initiatives for development including:
- Networking and Mentorship Opportunities
- Financial Investment and Access to Funding
- Education
Whilst only 1 in 3 British entrepreneurs are female, the pool of women’s entrepreneurial talent is huge. It has been estimated that £250 billion could be added to the UK’s GVA if, as many women as men, started and scaled business. Over four years this could add £1,900 billion to the GVA each year.
Together with our partners we aim to boost women’s economic participation and encourage growth in all industries. Including those which have historically have been seen as male-dominated industries. In turn, this will raise the aspirations of young girls who will be motivated and inspired by successful female role models.
PEER TO PEER NETWORKING

The Peer Networks scheme is funded by the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy. This peer-to-peer networking programme for female SME is powered by local enterprise partnerships.
A small cohort group of female entrepreneurs from diverse industries will work collaboratively through prevailing business issues. The programme includes action learning and thought-provoking interactive sessions. Led by trained facilitators, participants will consider how they look at challenges and develop strategies to create solutions. This will be accompanied by a one-to-one coaching session. You will build professional relationships with a trusted and supportive network of like-minded female entrepreneurs and will discover how to improve your personal and business performance. The programme will equip you with solutions for you and your business. You will become more resilient and prepared to react to change and take advantage of opportunities.
We are currently offering the Peer Network programme with the following local enterprise partnerships listed below. Please click on the links for more details and to apply to participate.
